Airavat | the general brand lining up 22 models from ₹999 to ₹12,999

Airavatis a general sporting goods brand whose own site says “Founded in 1985, AIRAVAT was born from the vision of Rakesh Chaube and Rajesh Chaube”. It covers badminton, tennis, table tennis, squash, padel, swimming, yoga and athleisure. In pickleball it claims to be the “FIRST PICKLEBALL BRAND IN INDIA”.

The 4,999-rupee SYLNT 7415 is literally named “INDIA’S FIRST NOISELESS PICKLEBALL PADDLE”. Noise complaints blocking new courts is a problem in many countries, and India is starting to see products aimed at it.

Don't look at it on pickleball alone

It also sells nets and accessories, but its mainstay is the whole range across other sports. Rather than judging its technology by the same yardstick as a pickleball specialist, it is closer to the truth to see it as a pickleball shelf added to an existing sports aisle. Its strength is owning the price band an Indian sports shop shows you first.
