What Pickle Times does
Pickle Times is a specialist media outlet that captures the "now" of rapidly spreading pickleball from a player's perspective. Finding venues, following tournaments, getting to know players, choosing gear—for everyone from those who want to start to the competition-oriented, we aim to be a place where you reach the information you need by the shortest route.
What sets us apart is our commitment toprimary sourcesbased on official information, data and on-site checks. We confirm venues with real data and official information, and write frankly about both the good points and the caveats of gear. From our two bases in Japan and Vietnam, we deliver the facts we have seen on the ground in Japanese.

VIETNAM

In Vietnam, pickleball courts are multiplying, especially in the cities. Pickle Times lists 1,359 venues there, and some courts are busy from morning to night even on weekdays. Until now, though, there was almost no organized local information available in Japanese.

INDIA
Pickleball in India, for Japanese readers and companies.
Pickleball venues are increasing in India too. Playo, India's sports venue booking service, lists 1,118 venues where you can play pickleball (compiled by our editorial team in September 2026), with the highest concentrations in southern cities such as Hyderabad and Bengaluru. In 2025 the government recognised the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) as the national federation, and pro leagues have started.
Pickle Times compiles India's venues, governing bodies, leagues and links with Japan in Japanese, drawing on official information and booking-service data. We also take enquiries from companies considering a pickleball business in India.The publisher is a co-founder of So Japan, a company that helps Japanese businesses enter India, and depending on what you ask about we may work with So Japan, in which case we will share the content of your enquiry with them.
