Facility information
PICKLEBALL ONE GINZA SHIMBASHI is an indoor-only pickleball facility in Uchisaiwai-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. An urban indoor-only facility that opened near Shimbashi Station in November 2025, it has one full court and one half court for practice.
On the indoor-only courts in the building's basement, you can play from early morning to night regardless of the weather. It also has a shop, a cafe lounge, showers, and equipment rentals.
Hours are roughly 6:00 to 23:00, and reservations can be made through the official site. Check the official information for fees and availability too.
It's located at 1-5-2 Uchisaiwai-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo — Uchisaiwai-cho Heiwa Building B1F. For detailed directions and the latest reservation methods and fees, see the official information (Official website).
Because it is indoor-only, you can play in a stable environment year-round, unaffected by rain, extreme heat, or cold. Being easy to visit to fit your daily rhythm, such as after work or early morning, is also an advantage of indoor facilities.
Many indoor-only courts are reservation-based hourly rentals. If there are paddle and ball rentals, you can start empty-handed, so for your first visit, check whether equipment loans are available for peace of mind.
The dink (a soft, dropping shot) in the non-volley zone (kitchen) near the net is the key to tactics. Being mindful of control rather than power shots makes it easier to seize the initiative in a rally.
Going to the same facility regularly deepens coordination with opponents and partners and speeds up improvement. Because it is a doubles-centered sport, making friends is also part of the fun.
A full-scale indoor-only facility has taken shape in the Shimbashi area of central Tokyo, making it easy to enjoy pickleball on the way home from work and at other times.
