Facility overview

Morita Tennis Center Utsubo is a tennis court in Utsubo Park, Nishi-ku, Osaka, that began offering court rentals for pickleball in March 2026. It has adopted a Japan-born equipment brand, so you can try it empty-handed. Note that pickleball events and availability may change, so check the official site and other sources for the latest information.

Features of the Outdoor Court

As outdoor courts inside a downtown park, they let you play in an open setting. Since you can borrow equipment and use them empty-handed, it's an easy environment for first-timers to start in.

Usage Guide

Fees and Reservations

Check the facility's announcements for the fees and reservation methods for pickleball court rentals. It's reassuring to also confirm whether equipment rentals are available.

Access and Contact

It's located at 2-1-14 Utsubo-honmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka, Osaka (Utsubo Park Tennis Courts). Check each facility's official information for detailed directions and the latest reservation methods and fees.

An Attached Court Where You Can Use Your Tennis Experience

Casually with Equipment Rental

At courts that make use of tennis and sports facilities, paddles, balls, and nets are often loaned out, so a feature is that it is easy to try even empty-handed.

Grasp the Difference from Tennis

Pickleball uses a smaller court than tennis, a lighter paddle, and a perforated lightweight ball. Once players with tennis experience get a feel for the kitchen (non-volley zone), they can improve quickly.

For First-Timers

The Rules Are Simple

Because the rules are easy to understand and rallies continue easily, it can be enjoyed regardless of exercise experience or age. It is recommended to first try hitting the ball in a trial.

Continue Without Strain

Easy-to-move-in clothes and, indoors, non-marking shoes provide peace of mind. Playing regularly, even for short sessions, stabilizes your feel for the game.

Enjoy Pickleball in Osaka

Even in central Osaka City, pickleball use of park tennis courts is spreading.
