KPI PARK (Totsuka-ku, Yokohama) is one of the larger outdoor pickleball facilities in Kanagawa. It held the grand opening of its pickleball courts in November 2024, and after later expansion it now has 14 courts.

With 14 outdoor hard courts, it handles a wide range of use, from tournaments to individual play. Its spacious grounds let even larger groups play comfortably, making it one of the largest venues in the prefecture.

Because it is outdoors, having a hat, sunglasses, and a drink as measures against strong sunlight and wind makes it comfortable. Because availability may change in rainy weather, check in advance.

Be Aware of the Kitchen
The dink (a soft, dropping shot) in the non-volley zone (kitchen) near the net is the key to tactics. Being mindful of control rather than power shots makes it easier to seize the initiative in a rally.

Going to the same court regularly deepens coordination with opponents and partners and speeds up improvement. Because it is a doubles-centered sport, making friends is also part of the fun.
