Tournament overview

The 1st Yamaguchi Prefecture Corporate Pickleball Tournament 2026 is a team event held at Yumegaoka Sports Center in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. RNB Pickleball hosts it, and it is the first of its kind in Yamaguchi. Not only companies but prefectural and city offices, universities, hospitals, organizations and shops can enter if they form a team under their organization's name.

Tournament format

A team needs at least three players with no upper limit, and the fee stays at 12,000 yen however many join. Because one tie is three doubles matches, though, only six players can take the court in a single tie. There are no restrictions on gender balance or age. The two entry conditions are that the team name carries the organization's name and that a majority of the members belong to it; one or two guest players can fill the remaining spots. If you cannot gather three people, enter under the individual slot (3,000 yen) and the organizers will build a team. Teams made up entirely of newcomers can enter, the rules are explained on the day, paddles rent for 500 yen, and gaps in level are handled with a head-start handicap. Pickleball clubs take part under the guest category.
