The 9th Maebashi Pickleball Tournament is a doubles event at the Maebashi Pickleball Center in Takasaki, Gunma. Three courts are used, with mixed doubles in a 50-and-over class and an all-ages class run on the same day in separate time slots. It is organized by Sporesh Takasaki Interchange.
Entry is open to players of junior high school age and above who can self-officiate, with 2 to 4 players per team. Women's pairs may also enter mixed doubles. The entry fee is 4,400 yen per team (tax included), payable in cash on the day only. Matches are 15 minutes, one game to 11 points (deuce applies, ends change at 6 points), with five matches guaranteed. The format is a league, or a league followed by placing playoffs depending on the number of teams. The match ball is the Franklin Sports X-26. Entries were taken by phone (027-386-8570) on a first-come basis from July 24 to August 21 and have now closed.
