Trinh Linh Giang (28) is a leading Vietnamese former tennis player and current pickleball player. In his tennis days he thrived as a member of Vietnam's Davis Cup team and was known as a top player in the domestic tennis scene. In recent years he switched to pickleball in earnest and has become a pioneering figure for the sport in Vietnam.

Career and record

At the Panas Malaysia Open 2025, his first PPA Tour Asia event, he beat India's Vanhisk Kapadia 12-10, 11-7 in the final to win the pro men's singles continental title. This was the first pro individual title for a Vietnamese player, earning 1,000 points to become No. 1 in the PPA Tour Asia Asia rankings. At the 2026 PPA Asia 1000 Hanoi Cup he also reached the main draw and faced world-class players.

Play style

His greatest strength is the high technique and skillful game management built in Davis Cup tennis. Centered on serving power and accurate ground strokes, he shows dominant strength in singles. The tactical play that only an experienced former tennis player can bring shines through.
