Ryan Fu is a professional pickleball player from Andover, Massachusetts. He played Division I tennis at the University of Michigan, then transferred to Bryant University. After earning an MBA, he switched to pickleball through the influence of his childhood friend James Ignatowich, a world top-5 pickleball player.
Just two years after earning his MBA, he rose rapidly into the PPA Tour's top-50 pros. He then climbed further in the rankings, breaking into the top 30 on both the PPA Tour and MLP. He has beaten several top-5 players, including JW Johnson, Hayden Patriquin, and Gabe Tardio. As of December 2025 he had played 43 pro tournaments and 202 matches.
His weapons are the powerful strokes and athleticism built in college tennis. Also known for his distinctive personality, he is a figure who draws fans both on and off the court.
In MLP he belongs to the Miami Pickleball Club. Making use of his profile in the pickleball world, he also thrives on the business side as vice president of RPM.
