Profile
Mary Brascia is a professional pickleball player from Mission Viejo, California. During her time at Biola University she starred as an excellent tennis player, waiting until her graduation in May 2022 to fully switch to professional pickleball. She started pickleball in 2020 at her parents' urging.
Career and record
In October 2020 she won the 5.0 division at her first PPA tournament in Las Vegas. As of March 2026 she ranks 12th in singles (2,775 points), 28th in doubles (2,300 points), and 34th in mixed (1,050 points). She won her first PPA silver at the 2023 Acrytech Atlanta Open and gold in singles at the 2024 Red Rock Open. She was a 2023 national silver medalist in doubles paired with her sister Maggie.
Play style
She says defense and scrappiness are the secret to her success. She has her own original shot, the "Mary-Go-Round," which she debuted at a 2022 MLP tournament. She excels at quick hand exchanges and coordinated doubles with her sister.
