Judit Castillo Gargallo is a professional pickleball player born November 6, 1998, in Teruel, Spain. She started tennis at 12, and after finishing high school in Valencia, she attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana (NCAA Division I) on a full scholarship. There she achieved a top-8 singles win total in program history and earned a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science and a master's in sport management, both summa cum laude.

Career and record

She made her first pro tournament appearance at the 2022 Texas Open. In February 2023 she quit her jobs as a tennis pro and personal trainer to become a full-time professional pickleball player. She won women's singles gold at the 2024 Veolia Austin Open, women's pro singles gold at the 2023 APP Sunmed Sacramento Open, and bronze at the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships. She ranks 11th in PPA Tour women's singles.

Play style

She shows strength in singles, with steady baseline play as her forte. She is also actively involved in spreading pickleball in her home country of Spain.
