Jackie Kawamoto

Profile

Jackie Kawamoto is a professional pickleball player from Maui, Hawaii. She competes alongside her twin sister Jade. After playing tennis at the University of Dayton, she started pickleball in 2019 through her father and rose quickly in the rankings on her athleticism and tennis experience. She now lives in Indianapolis and works full-time as an assistant coordinator in the NCAA's championships and alliances division.

Career and record

In 2025, paired with Jade, she won her first PPA Tour women's doubles title at the PPA Cincinnati Showcase. She pulled off a dramatic comeback, winning 11-6, 11-8, 11-7 after being down 8-11, 7-11. In women's doubles the pair was recognized as a top-3 team, and it was chosen as one of the biggest moments of the 2025 PPA Tour season. At the 2026 Masters she also played mixed doubles with Dekel Bar. She is active in MLP (Major League Pickleball) as well.

Play style

Built on the skills honed in tennis, her weapon is the outstanding combination that only twins can have. She is well regarded for her court reading and coordinated play in doubles.
