Dekel Bar is a professional pickleball player from Israel. As a pro tennis player he spent six years on tour, reaching No. 3 in Israel's national rankings and career highs of 370th in the world in ATP doubles and 570th in singles. After retiring from tennis due to repeated abdominal injuries, he was introduced to pickleball by his longtime friends, the brothers Collin and Ben Johns, and joined the ranks of top players within months.
As of January 2026 he had played 82 pro tournaments and posted a high career win rate of 60.8% across 469 matches. He ranks among the top 6 in the PPA Tour world rankings. He has piled up top finishes at numerous tournaments, including major PPA Tour events, and in 2025 he competed in tournaments in Daytona Beach, Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, Vietnam, Atlanta, and more.
Known as the owner of one of the tour's finest power serves, he is sometimes called the possessor of "the tour's strongest serve." In men's doubles at the PPA Tour Finals, he was named among the "Big Four Servers" along with Tyson McGuffin, James Ignatowich, and Ben Johns. His greatest weapons are tennis-honed athletic play and power.
Detailed paddle information is being confirmed. In doubles he also thrives paired with Pablo Tellez.
He continues full participation on the PPA Tour in the 2025-2026 season. Together with Ben Johns he also hosts a pickleball camp program called Pickleball Getaways, offering a camp experience with pro players.
