Christian Alshon is an American professional pickleball player. He etched his name in history as the first player to win at both the Challenger and Premier levels of MLP. Nicknamed the "Tweener King," he is an entertainer known for trick shots.
In MLP he belonged to the Brooklyn Pickleball Team (drafted as the 2024 No. 1 pick by the Texas Ranchers, then traded), and he was the overall No. 1 pick in the 2024 MLP draft. He was named MVP at 2023 MLP Dallas. On the PPA Tour he has the ability to rank in the top 10 across all three events: men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles. At the 2024 PPA Austin Showdown he won men's singles bronze, and paired with Tyra Black he won his first mixed doubles title.
His biggest trait is an aggressive playing style. He captivates crowds with trick shots, including his signature "tweener" (between-the-legs) shot, while posting steady results with solid skill. Highly all-around, he can contend for the top in all three events.
In 2026 he competes full seasons on both the PPA Tour and MLP. As a talent who maintains a top-3 PPA Tour ranking across multiple events, he is a regular in the title race.
