Brooke Buckner is a professional pickleball player from Cleveland, Ohio, who grew up in Delray Beach, Florida. A legendary tennis player, she starred at the University of Michigan with 112 singles wins, 121 doubles wins, and 233 total wins, the most in school history. She later served as an assistant coach for women's tennis at UNC Charlotte.

Career and record

In October 2020, a few months after the birth of her son, she took up pickleball. At the 2024 Veolia LA Open she beat Lauren Stratman 11-8, 11-0 to win her first PPA Tour singles title. At the August 2025 PPA Tour Bristol Open she beat Judit Castillo 12-10, 11-1 to win women's singles bronze. As of April 2026 she had played 72 tournaments and 606 matches with a 58.6% win rate.

Her hallmarks are aggressive net play and steady returns. With powerful baseline drives and strategic game management, she is a commanding presence in both singles and doubles.
