Profile

Alix Truong is a 21-year-old Vietnamese-American professional pickleball player. She currently lives in Delray Beach, Florida, training alongside some of the world's top players and coaches. In tennis she was the No. 1 player in both singles and doubles in high school. She was introduced to pickleball in Falls Church, Virginia, during the COVID period in 2020, and started competing in local tournaments that same year.

Career and record

She signed with the PPA in 2024 and reigns near the top of the women's pro tour as a Vietnamese-American player. She is currently 7th in the world in mixed doubles and inside the world's top 20 in women's doubles. With 4,600 PPA Tour points she ranks 18th in doubles and 11th in mixed doubles. At just 21, she has already collected 23 open/pro medals.

Play style

Her credo is "Stay Mean," and her weapon is a fierce two-handed backhand. She overwhelms opponents with aggressive baseline drives, sharp net play, and that two-handed backhand. She has thrived as a mixed doubles partner with Jonathan Truong.
