About Pickleball
A guest-invitation practice session run by Pickle Club Yokohama (PCY) at KPI PARK, an outdoor court in Totsuka Ward, Yokohama. Each session invites a pro or a top player and uses one court in the evening. Players from outside the club can join, and the sessions are aimed at beginners through intermediates.
The September 8, 2026 session features pro player Tetsuya Sato. Part 1, from 19:00 to 20:25, works on shots such as dinks, volleys and groundstrokes, with individual advice. The September 25 session features Miyu Hazawa, with dinks, volley-to-volley work and serves in the first half and game play in the second. Both dates have a Part 1 and a Part 2, each capped at six players. Because the courts are outdoors, a session is called off if the forecast one hour before the start shows an 80% chance of rain.
The fee varies by session: 4,700 yen for the September 8 session with pro Tetsuya Sato, and 7,800 yen for the September 25 session with Miyu Hazawa. The September 25 session carries a club member discount (7,500 yen) and a discount for taking both Part 1 and Part 2 (15,000 yen in total). Payment is by cash or PayPay on the day, and applications are subject to approval. The venue is KPI PARK at 1588-1 Shinanocho, Totsuka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa. Applications are taken on the Tennis Bear listing page.
