Tournament format
A preliminary round is followed by a tiered tournament, with games to 11 points and no deuce. At least three matches are guaranteed and calls are self-judged. The field is capped at 12 pairs, and entry costs 8,000 yen per pair (4,000 yen to enter on your own). Entries close on August 7.
