In Shinbashi, an indoor pickleball facility usable from morning to night has been born.“PICKLEBALL ONE GINZA SHIMBASHI,” Tokyo's first urban-type indoor pickleball facility, opened on November 1, 2025, on B1F of the Uchisaiwaicho Heiwa Building, a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. The courts are open from 6:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and weekends and holidays alike, becoming an urban base where you can play before heading to work or on the way home.

A 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, accessed via an underground passage

The facility is on B1F of the Uchisaiwaicho Heiwa Building at 1-5-2 Uchisaiwaicho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. It's a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station and can be accessed through an underground passage. The hotel “Mercure Tokyo Hibiya” is attached on the upper floors of the building. Reservations began on October 22, 2025.

From 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The biggest feature is the length of the hours. The courts are open from 6:00 to 23:00 regardless of weekday or weekend and holiday. The shop is open from 10:00 to 21:00. You can use it in ways that fit the city-center rhythm of life—working up a sweat in the early morning before heading to the office, or playing until late at night. The concept is “FUN AS ONE,” usable regardless of age, gender, or athletic skill.

Courts and fees

There are two types of court. It has the “One Court,” 90 cm narrower than regulation size for games, and the “Fun Court,” three-quarters the length for practice and drills.

Category One Court Fun Court
Weekday 6:00-18:00 (1 hour) 7,000 yen 5,000 yen
Weekday 18:00-23:00 8,000 yen 6,000 yen
Weekends and holidays 10,000 yen 8,000 yen

Open play is, per person per hour, 2,000 yen on weekday mornings, 2,500 yen on weekday afternoons, 2,500 yen on weekend and holiday mornings, and 3,000 yen on weekend and holiday afternoons. Paddle and shoe rentals are also available.

Operated by Heiwa Real Estate and Pickleball One

The facility is owned and held by Heiwa Real Estate Inc. (representative executive president Kiyoyuki Tsuchimoto). The operating partner is Pickleball One Inc. (representative director Shusaku Kumakura). Lessons are scheduled to start in sequence from January 2026 onward, and open play from December onward. It also has a specialty shop, drink sales, changing rooms, and showers.

Impact on readers

An urban indoor facility usable from 6 a.m. is unaffected by weather and suits people who want to play to fit their life schedule. Located at the transport hub of Shinbashi, it's easy for business travelers and businesspeople to stop by. The stable environment unique to indoors also suits lessons and beginner practice.

Summary

Combining long hours and near-station convenience, “PICKLEBALL ONE GINZA SHIMBASHI” is a facility that blends pickleball into urban life. Its positioning as Tokyo's first urban-type indoor facility could become a model for similar facilities going forward.
