Kate Fahey is a 29-year-old professional pickleball player from Fair Haven, New Jersey. At the University of Michigan (2015-2019) she built a legendary tennis career, earning three All-American selections, winning Big Ten Player of the Year twice, and setting the most wins in program history. After graduating she turned to pro tennis and reached 487th in doubles and 505th in singles, but retired due to a wrist injury.

Career and record

Her introduction to pickleball came when a colleague invited her to a local tournament. In the summer of 2023, during the PPA "Tour Wars" period, she signed with the PPA. She currently ranks 2nd in the world in PPA Tour women's singles, showing a commanding presence in singles play. In MLP she was drafted by the St. Louis Shock and plays a core role for the team.

Play style

Built on high-level tennis experience at the University of Michigan, her hallmark is powerful, aggressive singles play. She thrives across all events: women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
