Yeo Jih-Shian is a 57-year-old pickleball player from Singapore. He started pickleball in June 2021 during the pandemic and became a pioneering figure in Singapore's pickleball scene. He is the only Singaporean to have been drafted into and played in the senior pro division of the American National Pickleball League in 2023 and 2024.
He is the only player to complete a Triple Crown (gold in all three events) at the PPA Tour Asia Hong Kong event. He won gold in men's doubles paired with Hian Tee and in mixed doubles paired with Pinny. As of the end of 2024 he ranked 1st in Singapore's all-age rankings based on DUPR rating, a position he maintained into 2025.
His hallmarks are outstanding skill and strategic play that belie his age. He excels especially at doubles positioning and net-play precision, delivering performances that hold up against younger players.
A member of the pro team of the Asia-born pickleball brand SYPIK. He says signing with an Asian brand holds special meaning for him.
He continues to thrive across categories beyond the 50-and-over division, drawing attention as a role model for Asian senior pickleball.
