Kenta Miyoshi (born May 24, 1995; height 180cm, weight 72kg) is a PJF (Pickleball Federation of Japan) certified pro from Saitama Prefecture and a graduate of Waseda University. He originally aimed to be a pro tennis player, but discovered pickleball at an event in June 2023 and played his first tournament that October. He turned pro in March 2024.
He is the first Japanese to join MLP Australia (Major League Pickleball Australia) as a contracted player. In 2025 he served as captain of the Asia Aces (World Pickleball League) and also belonged to Dilli Dilwale, thriving in multiple Asian leagues. At the 2025 Sansan Fukuoka Open on the PPA Tour Asia he reached the men's doubles final (paired with Robert Stirling), drawing major attention as a Japanese player.
His weapons are the powerful serve and strokes honed in tennis. His hallmarks are wide reach from his 180cm height and all-around play with a balance of power and control. He delivers high performance in both singles and doubles.
Detailed paddle information is being confirmed. His partner Aiko Yoshitomi is also active as a professional pickleball player, and the two walk their pro careers hand in hand.
In the 2025-2026 season he is active mainly at the PPA Tour Asia events held in Japan. As a pioneer among Japanese professional pickleball players, he devotes himself to growing and developing the sport. He continues his challenge with a strong wish: "I want to achieve in pickleball the dream of being the world's best that I couldn't reach in tennis."
