Tina Pisnik (born February 19, 1981) is a former pro tennis player and current pickleball player from Maribor, Slovenia. In her tennis days she recorded a career-high world ranking of 29 and represented Slovenia at two Olympics: Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004. An injury from a traffic accident brought her seven-year pro tennis career to a close.
In November 2022 a friend encouraged her to start pickleball, and within a few months she was hooked. In 2023 she signed a three-year deal with the PPA Tour and turned pro. In her first pro year she made full use of her tennis experience, winning gold at the APP Chicago event and silver in mixed doubles at the Vulcan Tournament of Champions.
Her weapons are Olympian physical strength and the wide court coverage built in tennis. An all-rounder with a balance of powerful ground strokes and net play, she shines especially in mixed doubles.
She serves as a brand ambassador for Phoenix and won bronze using a new paddle at the 2025 PPA Veolia Lakeland Open.
She continues to compete on the PPA Tour in the 2025-2026 season. She is also active as a coach, teaching both tennis and pickleball. As a pickleball player with the title of former Olympian, she also contributes to spreading the sport.
