Lucy Kovalova is a legendary player representing the women's pickleball world, from Slovakia. After starring as a member of the Slovak junior national tennis team, she moved to the US and played college tennis at Wichita State University, recording the No. 1 doubles ranking for four straight years.

Career and record

She switched to pickleball in 2015, and at the 2017 US Open she won mixed doubles gold paired with Matt Wright. Since then she has posted a brilliant record: a nine-time US Open medalist, two-time Tournament of Champions winner, and four-time USA National Championship winner. As of March 2026 she had played 94 pro tournaments and posted a 57.9% career win rate over 344 matches.
