Jocelyn "Jay" Devilliers is a professional pickleball player born December 18, 1994, in Rosny-sous-Bois, France. Known by the nickname "the Flying Frenchman." As a boy he took up many sports, including soccer, tennis, handball, swimming, squash, badminton, table tennis, and skiing, ultimately excelling at tennis and soccer and choosing the tennis path. In 2009 he moved to Barcelona, Spain, to continue his tennis training. After graduating, he started pickleball as a hobby in 2020.

Career and record

As a PPA Tour pro he thrives mainly in mixed doubles. He ranks 11th in men's singles (as of 2026). In MLP he belongs to the Dallas Pickleball Club. As of February 2026 he had played 96 pro tournaments and posted a steady 57.3% win rate over 599 matches. As a French professional pickleball player, he also contributes to the international growth of the sport.

Play style

His strength is the all-around athleticism built on a wide variety of sports experience. In addition to strokes honed in tennis, his footwork and court coverage built in soccer are hallmarks. His game management and steady play, born of veteran experience, are his forte.

Personal life

He lives in Wichita, Kansas, with his wife Alexandra and their three sons.
