Lacy Schneemann is a professional pickleball player born October 17, 1996, in San Angelo, Texas. She earned bachelor's and master's degrees in aerospace engineering at the University of Southern California (USC). After graduating she worked for three years as a product design engineer at Boeing, handling satellite printed circuit board (PCB) packaging.
In June 2023 she left Boeing to compete full-time as a professional pickleball player. She is a talent ranked in the women's world top 20. In November 2025 she played the Pickleball World Championships in mixed doubles (paired with Noe Khlif) and women's doubles (paired with Megan Dizon). She is active on the PPA Tour and in MLP.
Her hallmark is strategic play that makes use of her analytical skills as an engineer. She excels at precise shot placement and court positioning.
She has been with JOOLA since 2022. She draws attention for her unusual career path from aerospace engineer to pro athlete.
