Anna Bright is a professional pickleball player born in Fort Worth, Texas, and raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. A former tennis player, she competed in college tennis at UC Berkeley and reached No. 13 in the national rankings. She discovered pickleball in 2021 and stunned the sport by winning two gold medals in her January 2022 pro debut. She is a PPA Tour Gold Card player.

Career and record

A doubles specialist ranked 2nd in women's doubles and 3rd in mixed doubles, she has won 23 gold, 17 silver, and 12 bronze medals in women's doubles alone, and holds more than 37 medals in mixed doubles as well. At the 2024 PPA Austin Open, paired with Andrei Daescu, she pulled off a huge upset by breaking the roughly year-long unbeaten streak of Johns/Waters, an outcome dubbed "the biggest upset of the year."

Her greatest weapons are the high-level skill and steady net play built in college tennis. She excels especially at doubles positioning and partner coordination, and her adaptability to deliver results with any partner sets her apart.

Latest developments

In 2026 she expanded her off-court activity as a leadership figure and brand ambassador for The Picklr franchise. She leads the pickleball world in both competition and grassroots promotion.
