Because one tie is three doubles matches, though, only six players can take the court in a single tie. There are no restrictions on gender balance or age. The two entry conditions are that the team name carries the organization's name and that a majority of the members belong to it; one or two guest players can fill the remaining spots. If you cannot gather three people, enter under the individual slot (3,000 yen) and the organizers will build a team. Teams made up entirely of newcomers can enter, the rules are explained on the day, paddles rent for 500 yen, and gaps in level are handled with a head-start handicap.
