Yufei Long is a 26-year-old professional pickleball player from China. She earned a master's degree in public health from Vanderbilt University's medical graduate school. A former college tennis player, she served as senior captain at Boston College and played NCAA Division I tennis at Vanderbilt. She made the decision to pause her doctoral research and devote herself to pickleball.<\/p>\n
She won the 2025 PPA Tour Asia women's singles year-end No. 1 ranking. She won gold at the season opener, the Panas Malaysia Open, and also took 1,000-point wins at the Fukuoka and Ho Chi Minh City events. Through the 2025 season she won five medals in singles, standing atop Asian women's singles with dominant strength. She also won pro women's singles gold at the PPA Challenger Series Baton Rouge event.<\/p>\n
Her hallmarks are the aggressive baseline play and footwork built in Division I college tennis. Her strength in singles stands out especially, and she shows peerless strength at Asian tournaments.<\/p>\n
She was selected as an inaugural-year member of the UPA Asia Trailblazers program. Developing her activity at tournaments in both Asia and the US, she thrives as a pioneer of Chinese pickleball.<\/p>\n
