As a former pro tennis player he recorded a career-high ATP singles ranking of<strong>231<\/strong>and holds the record of<strong>winning the 2015 Wimbledon junior doubles<\/strong>, a star of Vietnamese sports. He retired from tennis in March 2025 and switched to pickleball.<\/p>\n<h2>A brilliant tennis career<\/h2>\n<p>He recorded the best-ever ATP ranking for a Vietnamese tennis player (231). In 2015 he won the Wimbledon junior doubles, etching his name in Vietnamese sports history. A national athlete who led Vietnam's tennis scene for many years.<\/p>\n<h2>A historic feat at the MB Hanoi Cup 2026<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/tournament\/mb-hanoi-cup-2026\/\">MB Hanoi Cup 2026<\/a>In the men's singles final he beat fellow Vietnamese Truong Vinh Hien<strong>11-5\u300111-6<\/strong>in straight sets to win. An all-Vietnamese final was realized at a PPA 1000-level event, and a home player won it, a historic feat. This win lifted him to<strong>No. 14<\/strong>in the PPA world rankings.<\/p>\n<h2>A driving force of Asian pickleball<\/h2>\n<p>Applying the high-level skill and athleticism built in tennis to pickleball, he grew rapidly to enter the world top 15 in less than a year after switching over.
