She played tennis at Washington State University (WSU), where she was named conference Player of the Year and a NAIA First-Team All-American. She earned a degree in accounting and an MBA in healthcare management.<\/p>\n<h2>My encounter with pickleball<\/h2>\n<p>In the summer of 2019, at the urging of her childhood friend<a href=\"\/en\/player\/tyson-mcguffin\/\">Tyson McGuffin<\/a>, she started pickleball. She made her pro debut in 2020 and rose to prominence rapidly on<a href=\"\/en\/tournament\/ppa-tour-2026\/\">PPA Tour<\/a>. She has won medals in all three events at major tournaments.<\/p>\n<h2>Competitive record<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>As of March 2026: 113 tournaments played, 795 career matches, and a win rate of<strong>62.4%<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Medals in all three events at major PPA Tour tournaments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Her battle with type 1 diabetes<\/h2>\n<p>At 23 she was hospitalized with ketoacidosis and<strong>type 1 diabetes<\/strong>was diagnosed.
