As a child he had played tennis and table tennis, so the fundamentals of racket sports were already in place. Just a few years after taking up pickleball, he achieved astonishing growth to reach the top of the pro tour.<\/p>\n<h2>Overwhelming competitive record<\/h2>\n<p>In 2019 at the Tournament of Champions, he became the first men's pro to achieve a Triple Crown (gold in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles). His strategic play, drawing out opponents' mistakes rather than relying on power, has earned him the label \"the chess player of pickleball.\"<\/p>\n<h2>Paddle and sponsor<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"\/en\/brand\/joola-pickleball\/\">JOOLA<\/a>He signed a lifetime contract with.
